West Pennine Trucks sells the first Scania "Dark Diamond" in Britain

The production run was limited to 100 units only and operated on a strictly "first come first served basis".  Each of the vehicles in this limited series of 100 units is individually numbered and signed by the designer himself - Sven-Erik "Svempa" Bergendahl.
 
Shortly after the announcement, West Pennine Trucks was delighted to receive an order for a R620 Topline 4x2 tractor units from one of its long established customers who intends to use the truck for his European operations.  Being such a special vehicle, he has decided to make the trip to the Scania factory at Sodertalje in Sweden in order to personally take delivery of the new "Dark Diamond" which will be number 18. We are all looking forward to seeing this unique vehicle & monitoring its performance, once in service.
