Does your old truck pollute the planet?
Like it or not, HGV’s are seen as nasty, dirty vehicles which pollute the atmosphere. Over recent years, manufacturers have done much to reduce the most noxious elements from exhaust emissions, and as a consequence, most models registered during the last 5 or 6 years have significantly improved environmental credentials.
If you are running an older vehicle, maybe now is the time for a newer model, particularly with the forthcoming introduction of the London Low Emissions Zone (LEZ) for HGV's over 12 tonnes from 4th February 2008.
West Pennine Trucks always has a wide range of late registered, dealer maintained used vehicles most of these will meet the LEZ emissions standards for 2008. For more information on our current used truck stock please search our used trucks database.
