The R sleeper is every bit as well equipped as the Topline and Highline sleeper cabs when it comes to the driving environment.

You get less headroom, but many drivers will still find there is plenty of space to stand up and move around. You also get two good-sized sleeping bunks.

Naturally, there is less space above the windscreen for storage, though even here you’ll find some handy cubbyholes for personal items. Storage elsewhere is just the same, and just as generous, as the other big Scania sleeper cabs.

If your priority is a superbly well-equipped cab that offers a first-class driving experience and enough space for resting and sleeping in comfort, this new big R sleeper cab should have serious consideration.

There is also a flat-roof version that permits loading above the cab, suitable for applications such as car transporters.
