Scania EGR: Exhaust Gas Recirculation

What is Scania EGR

Scania EGR is an advanced development of exhaust gas recirculation technology – a concept that has universal adoption for heavy commercial vehicles in the USA and lighter commercials throughout the world.

With its EGR-system, Scania attacks emissions at source – in the combustion chamber. No substances need to be added.

Scania has chosen this technology to ensure that the inline Scania Euro 4 powered vehicles can operate on standard diesel fuel available at the pumps, without any worries about the availability of additives.
